Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback

Same story with me. The service runs perfectly from Midnight for a few hours and then just falls over.
Afriman/Afriguy/Afridog, its time to sort your **** out now.
I expect to get what I am paying for. If you cannot deliver, start preparing to either start refunding your customers for not delivering on your commitments or be prepared to start losing them. When I choose to move I will take not only my domains as well.

I feel like I have regular uncapped but paying for business, there's nothing premium about this service.

I know things aren't great, I'm really sorry about that :(
We'll pull through, I promise. And when we do, it'll be better than ever.

This is my third time with Afrihost . Afrihost is a company of boom-bust . You guys must understand that Afriman/Afriguy/Afridog are low level employs which are doing their best. But they REALLY can't do much . This is a waste of time to write angry posts on they forum . The most important thing is never never never let any ISP hanle your line and just move to a better ISP . Six months down the line your better ISP might not be that good so you keep on moving. There is always a better ISP at any given time .

I think you under estimate what we really do here.
A lot of feedback is fed back into the business. By no means the most important people around, but saying we're low level employees is a pretty low blow.

@afriman/afriguy

WTF? I'm getting 30KB/s on my 10Mbps account!!!!
This is rubbish, your "best and brightest" are working really hard at messing things up....

Are you seeing these results across the board or only on certain services?

If I download from youtube( which is local ) then the speed is around 300KB/s but as soon as I start an NNTP download it plummits to around 30KB/s

Now I am getting a solid 5KB/s exactly 0.5% of my line speed, is this what your service has become? I have just made up my mind, this is the last the month with you guys...

Strangely enough my torrents aren't doing to bad, getting between 200 - 300kb/s on 8Mb line, nntp on the other hand is around 30kb/s, it is unlikely to stay that way all day though.

Just tried a local download now and it is maxing my line, so NNTP and torrents are being affected for me....

Very odd, just tried out some P2P myself in the South and it's all running well.
Please PM me your DSL username so I can have this checked out.

Just checked now and nntp is running at about half of my line speed. Torrents are staying in the range of 5-15 KB/s.

2Mb line

Are these consistent results or do things speed up from time to time?
I see you're in a different area to JesseG, not sure if there's a more obvious in one of the areas.

Those speeds are fairly consistent, there are sometimes a few short bursts in speed, but that doesn't last long.
