Er, not quite. That process was not followed. Not even remotely...
Yes, I assumed everyone had gathered that seeing as your findings prove otherwise.

We're just covering the same ground over and over in different words. Nothing I've said here should be news to you, it's what I've been saying for the few hundred posts. I'm really not saying anything different.
The question was "why is it taking so long" which is what I am answering - it's not in any way indicating that it's not going to arrive on the promised date of the 10th (though that is still ultimately in Telkom's hands - not in our hands). Again, jumping to the conclusion that this is due to incompetence or neglect is unfounded. We've actively pursued this with MTN and Telkom - the reality is that these are the parameters we have to work within when it comes to being an ISP at this level. It's not simply like buying a router at the local store - these are specialised and expensive pieces of equipment that a custom built and configured and require specialised expertise within Telkom to implement.
Just out of interest sake. What do you do for a living DJ. Sounds very lawyerishh ish..

Perhaps Afriman should get Gian on here to quash the breaching of t&cs?
And question 1 for the benefit of the forum ?
TBH I do not see where I breached the Terms and Conditions...... If I have please point it out and I will take my ***** and go elsewhere.

Again - let's not get personal. You don't even know your own postal address, so excuse me for being pessimistic and believing Afrihost is incompetent!!!! Your support desk takes months to respond to BASIC tickets, again, excuse me for thinking that Afrihost is incompetent!!!! PROOVE TO US that you are NOT incompetent...
I am a certified CCNA as well as CCNP. I have Cisco 6500's running my PERSONAL network at *home*. I have at this point in time, 8K PPPoE sessions terminated on a Cisco 7200. I know more than what you think. You on the otherhand, more than likely don't even know what that equipment is or what it is used for...
Stop blaming everything and anything you can think off, AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! Your just digging yourself a deeper hole... Cancelling accounts just made sure you fell into it. All that's left for you to do, is close that hole up with you inside.
No, AfriMan has if he cancelled your account. Apparently you're the only one who is meant to have permission to carry that out.
BUT Fudzy...
Go, get some tissues...
There was a breakdown in the relationship.
/sniff
That sounds like getting personal to me. I don't think I said anything to that effect to you here![]()
They also make notes on your account which they call "client reviews'. Sadly nobody checks to see if they are true or just malicious.Afriman what if you did not have my account details? Then you would not have been able to cancel it, I am at least man enough to stand by my actions.
So guys be aware they have a excel doc somewhere that matches your MyBB account name with you afrihost account

Why did Afrihost allow a situation to arise where they are so oversubscribed, and services to clients are often rendered useless on this basis? While charging the same rates, marketing to and accepting new clients each day, and refusing to authorise refunds for customers affected by this?
Can you not see how a customer would reach the end of his tether after 7 months of the same nonsense? Is it fair to cancel his services for venting his frustration in this regard? Is it fair to accuse him publicly of breaking the trust with your company, when in fact he attempted to find a middle ground and resolve this behind the scenes, while also offering to stop posting about the issue entirely?
The simple answer is no. The complicated answer is hell no...
