I still cannot use sopcast. This is unacceptable on a service that isn't supposed to be shaped.
I sent you a pm with details on how to test this.
Getting the same problem daily. Most of the time after resetting the router multiple times it goes back to what it should be. Support is still investigating the issue. All the tests etc conducted on my line has proven that the problem is with Afrihost/MTN.Rebooted the router and sitting at 1.9MB.
Supposed to be 6MB, right?
End of September, bye bye. Cancellation will be done on the 1st September.
Was working perfectly fine (except for the constant streaming BS....) and downloading like a monster up until about 2 hours ago, when speed dropped to this:

Took 3 tries to actually open this thread to post this.
Paying 1K+ per month for this constant BS is over, I am going to cancel this service and move elsewhere.

After another few reboots, speed is back to the normal 4-5MB, but streaming still sucks hairy donkey gonads.
Everything else works perfectly fine, though.
Having random DNS issues, is it this wind or authentication issues again?

@Afri,
Tried sending you a PM, says your inbox is full..
Resetting your router would have no effect on your data (ISP connection). This is a line function to reset your port connection, so this would point to a line issue. If you're rebooting your router immediately, chances are you're getting the same IP address, so nothing is really changing on the ISP side![]()

Not a line fault, when this happens I can switch to my web africa account and get full speed without having to reboot the router. Also local traffic remains solid, I can get full speed on a local test. Only international is affected. So deff not a line fault.
