Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback

Can someone please help me. YouTube videos coming down at 60kpbs on a 4Mb Business Uncapped account?

I'm into my 5th or 6th email with support whose last response was that everything seems fine. Come on, really? I've JUST upgraded from the 2mb to the 4mb package maybe 2 weeks back.

Looks like we didn't handle this query too well. Sorry about that, I think we can still try to get this sorted for you.

I've asked one of our more senior guys to take over the ticket and get in touch with you so we can try to figure this out properly :(

I really don't see why AH can't just create another account for you to see if it works...
Some members have had an awesome experience with AH, while others have had a horrible time...
I for one have not had a great experience in the last two months or so...

One of the reasons our guys use their personal accounts is so that we don't get accused of using doctored or optimised accounts to change results. It's also why we insist on our consultants having the same experience our clients are having so we can catch issues earlier and that they can personally relate to what is reported to provided the best personal service and support.

Is anyone else having issues signing into the Playstation Network, I was having this issue yesterday but it managed to sign in most of the time, today I have yet to sign in to the network...

I haven't tested PSN recently. Is this on PS4 or PS3?

Telkom outage yesterday from midday onwards, resolved this morning.

Good thing I must say, now to catch up on emails

I'll have to check if we can test from our side, otherwise I'll test on my side this evening.

I can reach the playstation network site over PC and that seems to be working fine, servers ping fine from PC.

Please test from a PS3, I get a DNS server error, my settings are DHCP enabled...
When it does sign in, I will eventually get signed out, makes it hard to download games

I'll test tonight and report back. We had a PS3 at our office for testing but it sadly grew legs :(

Something is not right with my line atm.
First thought that it was the Unotelly DNS servers that might be causing the problem, but using Afrihost or Google DNS servers gave the same results:

And tracert to mybroadband using Afrihost DNS servers:

And this is on a 4Mbp line :(

Definitely looks like international is poor for a 4Mbps service. Could you please run a local speedtest and then also run the Afrihost Network Test App?

@Afriman, please check my line, I have tested with two other accounts and I am having the same issue, DNS server error...
Plus web pages failed to load, I have to refresh the page for it to load

It could be a Telkom error, perhaps related to issues from yesterday. It wouldn't likely be a network error. Were both accounts Afrihost accounts, or different ISPs?

Drop me a PM so I can check your line for you.

@Afriman, changed the DNS settings on the router, DNS server error has gone for now, line is magically syncing at 10Mbps after the call centre agent said it won't because of the SNR...Thanks if you synced the line for me

This could be an exchange related error, concerning to see that you're getting timeouts on hop 2 :(

Awesome, glad we're making progress :D

After 18 support calls. Irvin N fixed my problem.

What a pleasure to deal with.
