Looks to be back to normal for me too.. My downloads are averaging 190 kB/s (when I'm downloading) on a 2meg line. It's been like that for at least the past 2 days

Edit.. And I have 18 posts...so must also be a fake account :P

Everything is crawling today. Even my IMAP mail inbox isn't synchronising because the connection times out.

What's the ETA for a fix? How on earth is demand so high? I refuse to believe that it's now an issue stemming from the iOS updates because those should have been finished a long time ago.

Saving a blank post in Wordpress takes forever, while torrents download at full speed. I'm on a 2Mb account + line.

The latency doesn't look good at all :( Do you have a traceroute that I can have a look at?

Our team are investigating high latency in the East IPC, seems to be affecting Durban.
Can you PM me your details please?

This really isn't cool :(
Are you using our DNS servers? I have made our team aware of the higher than normal latency results.

Yeah I'm using all the right settings. This problem is for nearly everyone from KZN, I think. It's that hop 41.181.221.x that is causing the lag.

Bandwidth throughput is just fine.

Yeah I see so, you aren't the first to bring it up :(
Looks like traffic is being contended on the East IPC. Our team are checking this out.

Throughput isn't the problem, extreme latency is, although this is also causing some havoc with my international speeds.

Gottit, our team are looking into the high latency. Looks like our network is contending quite a bit in some regions :(

... damn dude.. I was basically pointing out that since your torrents are fine and your speed test isn't, that symptom must be explainable. It just looked to me that the afri representative missed it. No need to get sarcastic, sorry for putting in my 2c worth

If this is how your Business Accounts are going to perform then consider me gone as customer...
