Nothing has been implemented yet, it's still all in testing phases at this stage.
 
Enough is enough.

Please confirm if dropping my capped account to a 1gb option becomes free? Does it stay that way indefinately until I increase it again should I ever want to?

That's right, if you opt to downgrade to the free 1-GB package, there will be no monthly charges until you decide to upgrade the package.

Some news... It seems Telkom is planning on moving some users across to a different Exchange, I'm trying to get more detail on this!
 
Can't even watch Youtube at 144p, IT'S LOWEST SETTING.

Afrihost, you suck!
 
But yet I can watch Twit.tv at 720p via Ustream.

What a crap network. You should be ashamed.

Thank you. Just wish they would bloody well upgrade the exchanges in our area.

I expect they will deny it, and it is dangerous ground, but if they need to shape the unshaped accounts during the update, to hold on to the main customer base, I think we should allow it. Most of the technically minded users have alternate accounts anyway, so as long as they admit there is an issue lets work with them to solve it even if it means we have shaped accounts for a few weeks. We owe them that much, in my mind, for the years of great service prior to MTN. It is their last chance and I have already moved all my critical accounts so I have nothing to lose, but I would like to see Afrihost return to the position they once rightly held.

That actually sounds more like a DNS issue... Youtube should be streaming for a local cache. Would you mind checking which DNS Servers your modem is using?
 
Games on MTN network still unplayable. Ping seems fine intially, then jumps around so much you can't do squat. Timeout follows and the kick!

I'm seeing quite a few spikes in latency at the moment, I'm talking to our Team now to see if we can do something.
 
Well it was sweet Afrihost while it lasted, but this was the final and last straw that broke the camel's back. I have a capped account on a 40mb line that I can't use. I have unbundled and cancelled my line and my 75gb ''capped'' account.
