We will at some stage, but not yet.
You have my word here, happy to confirm on DM - and clients currently on Afrigreen haven't seen accounts locked.

It's something that'll be communicated from our end.
We're not bad people :)

Just want to add - we'll only consider locking accounts once we've seen some stability on Afrigreen. For now we're still running tweaks that may involve drops. Either way, it'll be communicated with you before hand.
 
Watching, or TRYING to watch The International DotA 2 Championship with over 1500 ms ping.

Hi Afriguy,

I have been having this latency problem since early Monday. This is the first time in 4 years with Afrihost that I have experienced such bad internet service.
100% across the board. When I try to refresh twitter its says "connection error".

Never mind 1500 ms ping. Check my latest stat.

Please understand this no joke. I have cancelled my account. Signing up for 24 months with Neotel.
Hope things get better for you guys. I'm sure there is nothing much Afrihost "wants" to do to fix this problem.

Twitch.tv performance hasn't been great, our Team is putting a lot of work into AfriGreen to make sure this changes.

There was a massive issue with DotA II and The Internationals due to a widespread DDoS attack at the tournament, could you possibly try out the streaming now and let me know if there is any change.

Hi AfriGenie,

I'm not sold on the DDoS attack lending itself to extreme high latency. I say this because it was/is exactly the same as it was on Monday. I will stress that on Sunday the Latency was decent.

I will also say that I am not using Twitch.tv. I am using the Dota Client. Uses much less bandwidth as the Dota engine unpacks the compressed files and renders it.

At this point I am just giving you honest feed back, what afrihost chooses to do with the information provided by myself and all on this forum is up to you (afrihost)

I have cancelled. Moving to Neotel. Already signed up! :)

Hi Bashley on Monday night comcast had a massive outage in Seattle and its surrounding areas. And yesterday the Attack. So it could still have been that issue.

Thanks GreenArrow. I will post tonight's latency here. Normal latency is around 385 ms ping. But lets say 450 ms at most. I'm positive I'll be posting 1000 ms plus latency.

Latency for the VP vs coL match. More than 1000 ms.
I was so fed up with getting 2000 plus latency yesterday, I moved to the afrigreen POC "network", out of pure desperation.
The experience is now worse, feels like someone is pushing fast forward and rewind at a very fast rate.

Top-ups on our Capped accounts already roll-over, but I don't think we have any plans in the short-term for having your standard cap roll-over.

Huh... Something is not quite right here... Are you able to run a traceroute to the server that you are connecting to by any chance?
 
Hey. So ever since yesterday I've had the most appalling internet. Troubleshooted for the past 2 days with the Social Media team and my internet is SLIGHTLY better but some sites just won't load. I can't even get onto speedtest.

HELP ME BEFORE I DIE.
