Thornton/Pinelands connection/authentication issue

Hi AfriGuy

Same issue as BrendanMc; I'm geographically just down the road in Thornton, Cape Town; must be related somehow, can't be a coincidence. :wtf:

My adsl also went down about 40 mins ago.
Router shows proper sync but no browsing etc
Pinelands cape Town

Router logs:
line sync ok: up down values reported correctly
PPP start connect
PPP server detected
PPP session established
no gateway or IP assigned
internet link light flashes once
connection drops
restarts loop with PPP start connect...

If you could escalate for us, please? :erm:

There's a listed Telkom outage in the Pinelands area I'm afraid, affecting 021 531 & 532 numbers.
 
Weird, if I google Afrihost client zone - I get this link https://www.afrihost.com/clientzone/ and can access through login link.

If I go to the clientzone tab from the afrihost main page I get internal server error or blank page with this link

https://www.afrihost.com/clientzone/ is our landing page for the ClientZone, the actual login link is https://clientzone.afrihost.com
Out of interest, are you using our DNS servers?

Oh, bother! Thank-you for the feedback. Btw, is there a link that lists such issues and would you mind pointing me in that direction, please?
