Yes, that's correct. After September you would receive the base package and free data falls away.

Remember though that we may extend or revise the promo. We've done so often in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised if we find a way to extend the free data :)

We're still hoping and praying for a little gigahappie freebie for this month, as ever-so-loyal AH customers :p

I'm pretty sure that capped bundle clients will get mystery bonuses - just waiting for confirmation from Gian on this.

As to double data - I can't say whether it will continue after September or not at this stage. I can only say that I personally think we'll find way to make sure client still gets awesome deals one way or another :)

Any mystery bonus at this stage will be a life saver :p

Yeah, we'll get there when we get there :)

Sorry to hear that :(
Is there a traceroute I can look at?

Looks like the exchange is a bit wonky, the latency is quite high :(
Do you consistently see these results?

Nope, generally quite good!! Latency usually around 10ms-50ms to local servers and speeds usually 90%-100% of max line speed (10mb line).

I have a Web Africa back up account that I would test but I'm capped.

I'm quite sure this is a line/ exchange related issue, but to be sure could you test with the Telkom guest account too?

What the account log in details for that?

guest@telkomadsl
guest

And what test can one run using a guest account?

I did the same tracert and the 2nd hop was again around 120ms with the rest timeout...

It will only show the response to the exchange as that account is limited down to Telkoms site and speedtest. Looks like an exchange issue, possibly congested :(

I think it's best to keep an eye on it tonight/ tomorrow morning to see if it persists. If so, we'll have to log a fault for you.

Anything close to or over 30ms for the second hop is concerning. From the inconsistent spikes in latency, I would guess this is intermittent congestion :(

bink? What is bink the button :)

EDIT: I "binked" it and it gave me lots of Gigs. Youtube thanks you..
