@Afriman

Thank you for the PM. I agree that there is nothing wrong with the account. Judging from the last 10 pages on this topic, its quite clear that the culprit is contention/demand problems. Regardless of what you want to call it, it not supposed to be my problem.

Please refer to post #4728. I want my money back.

What say you??

@Afriman, kindly reply

edit: I think I have been rather patient

COME ON NOW AFRIHOST!

@Afriman/Afriguy:
This is now getting pathetic. My previously perfect 10mbps line is giving me this :mad:
Local's gone belly up. 42KB/s to 97KB/s with massive latency.
International, although unstable, is MASSIVELY better. 700KB/s to 987KB/s

Now I've ALWAYS been an AH supporter. I'm now losing faith! :(

This isn't great at all, sorry about the poor experience you're seeing :(
Odd seeing the latency reflect in the speedtests but not a traceroute - I'd like to have this looked into.

Could you PM me your info please?

The last two days was fine, but all a sardine.. I can't connect to a gaming server. Had to switch accounts again , alas :(

Which games are you playing? We're working through some tweaks, specifically for Destiny to look at how the traffic runs through the network.

When did you notice the speeds degrade when you used our account?

I'm not sure what you mean Afri Guy? When I speedtest the AH account I get +- 4 Mbps. If I then switch to WA I get 8+ Mbps.

The speed degrade happened since last night...

Thanks, would you mind PM'ing me a bit more detail around this? I'd like to have it passed onto our team to troubleshoot with you further.

can someone fill me in on what's going on?

I've got a capped account and I've just checked and my torrents are dead.

Only noticing it now because I personally used this account for a week ( was in JHB).

Shouldn't be any issues around this, PM me the account you're having troubles with and I can check it out for you.

Will do so shortly. Just restarting the torrents and checking to see what's going on.... If I don't come right, I'll pm you :)

Both my accounts (Afrihost and Mweb) have huge latency and slow speeds since yesterday (as far as I know). Was ok again last night

If you aren't noticing any latency spikes it could be that we're mis-classifying the traffic. PM me a bit more info and I'll see what our team has to say :)

Why would you need to classify traffic on unshaped capped accounts?
