Afrihost Capped Bundle pricing

Seems my invoice is void of the above issues.... my bill for 10Mb and the 50GB remains R449.

My current account is the 50Gig bundled. So why is my account now called 54Gig account - is that all i get extra misely 4gig?

I've been billed my usual amount for 20mbps + 50 gig bundle (which is a relief) but it looks like I haven't received any extra gigs. Will wait till tomorrow to see if they show in the clientzone.

My cap also increased this morning from 50gb to 82Gb

My cap has gone from 50Gb to 66Gb on my 50Gb/4Mbps bundle.

No increased data for me. On the 50GB, 10MB bundle. A colleague has received an increase like most people here, he is now at 82GB, and he's on the same bundle as me.

Keen to find out wha'ts actually going on and why some people get extra data?

Could an Afrihost rep please clarify what is going on as there seems to be a huge amount of confusion with extra gigs and billing adjustments.

Just a clear concise statement would be great.

I was told that due to a system error I was paying less that over people (not sure as I was paying what was advertised) so I would not get extra gigs.
you need to work out what you are paying and if it is less that R1.80 a gig you will get nothing.
I would like at least to get some after hours gigs....... just saying

Can anyone explain this to me. Afrihost used to have a 10Mb/s 50GB cap bundle for R497. Now the same bandle but with the "free double anytime data" costs R578!!

What's going on?

The standard Capped rate (with Double Data) is R1,80 per GB. So if you calculate a 10Mbps line (which is R399) that leaves R98. If you divide that by the current R1,80 rate, that gives 54GB. So in most cases clients were upped to 54GB per month.

The bundle for R578 is 10Mbps with 50GB+50GB (which also works out to the same per GB rate)

No bundle clients were billed a higher amount or received less data than they were getting previously, so some existing bundle clients are actually already getting a rate below R1,80, so they would not get additional data now.

If anyone is getting something different, wrong price or less data, please PM me so I can fix that for you.

I'm one of those clients :) Just wish I could keep this price when I move :(
