Your latency seems a bit erratic. What DNS settings are you using?

Hi, is the option to reset your line still disabled on Clientzone or am I not seeing?

I have had 1mb down and 2.25mb up on a 40mb line for 2 days now (constantly through the night and this morning), but it's the same when using Plugg so would want to start with a line reset.

EDIT: Latency is fine i.e. 180ms to the UK, so don't think it's pure congestion, specifically as it's so consistent.

Im having a issue with speed being extremely slow. also international latency is fine when i connect but after 5mins it goes to hell. This Started after afrihost posted this:

International throughput on Fixed Wireless Internet

Resolved: 17:13, 15 Oct 2017

Clients connecting with the Afrihost fixed wireless internet may experience intermittent or no connectivity to international sites. Our team is working with our upstream providers to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Not at the moment. :(

You are more than welcome to PM me your line number and I'll do it manually from my side quickly.

Here is my ping to bras:

Are you on a Capped DSL or Fibre account or a Fixed Wireless package?

My line has been horrible since yesterday morning as well. 20mb VDSL capped account and only getting 5mb on My broadband speed test.

Images and videos really struggle to load on Twitter and they get stuck on WhatsApp quite a lot as well.

Can't watch Showmax or Netflix at the moment but I was able to watch a YouTube trailer earlier.

All stock standard DNS etc. I don't fiddle with that stuff.

That doesn't sound great. :( Please PM me your line number and I'll run some tests.

We're definitely not seeing any general network issues in any region at the moment.

I have had this for 36 hours now though, never goes much higher no matter the hour.. Normally 30mb down...

I did log a call yesterday morning, no response yet :(

Well.. My line is still with Vox at the moment (yesterday I asked them to cancel it and move it into the Holding Pool so that I can "Bundle & Save" at Afrhihost :) ) so it's only the capped account with AH at the moment. I've been using it this way for about 5 months and it has been awesome. Since Sunday morning, it's been really ***.

My line stats look pretty good (180m from MSAN):

MyBB Speed Test to JHB:

Ping: 44ms
Download: 5.11Mbps
Upload: 1.79Mbps

Seems like a few people in the South that have issues.

Edit: MyBB Speed Test to CT:

Ping: 27ms
Download: 6.23Mbps
Upload: 1.79Mbps

These stats look pretty good. :) Changing ISPs won't have any physical effect on your line. It's possible that your recent issue might be coincidental, but I'll definitely be happy to troubleshoot this with you. Please PM me your line info.

This is happening on all my ISP accounts, along with a friend of mine. I am on the Charlo exchange and he is on Hunters Retreat. Something is up on Telkom's side in the PE area and I don't think they are aware of it.

I too am on 40mbit. Speed test on my Vox account;

Afripeeps, is it possible you could make Telkom aware of this problem in PE? Trying to explain the problem to their support is a nightmare.

I am also on Charlo exchange so obviously an issue there. My afrihost support call said they would escalate to Telkom.
