Afrihost fails

It's been resolved. I'd like to thanks "Greg" for knowing how to open an attachment (from the email I sent over an hour ago). To everyone here that tried to "help" with your useless comments: get a life.

but I don't need a life. I get my kicks from watching pointless n00bz throw their toys out of the cot in useless threads that half a shelf life of 30 mins and a relevance count of minus 75! :D

seriously... it's very entertaining! ;)

LOL. I have no words.

Yes? so YOU never make a spelling error? Some idiots defies any logic.
So then where do you get AH support, Lucky I was still on client zone and by accident discovered that by moving the mouse over the Key showing on the My connectivity page the password and User namea are viiewable in a popup window, so I could log on and change the E-mail. i suppose they were very busy as the ! Hour support onle e-mailed back the following day.

As compliments I must say that the Afrihost Instant connectivity took no time at all. Best I have ever experienced, instant activation extraordinaire :D

I am not talking about your spelling. I am talking about the fact that you, as the OP, are bitching about a mistake that was, as you admit your own damn fault.

Jees.

Hmmm, familiar this is.

But Gary, you must work for Afrihost, surely? :p

Service at 10 53 PM on Sunday. Yeah, Afrihost fails alright

That was already a few days ago. Webafrica have done better in the past. Real 24/7 support. I do not know now but Yeah some companies do give real after hour support. As stated their so called 24/7 e-mail support also failed.

That email support which had the incorrect email address which you had supplied them?

Jees.

Catch a wake up son, I made a fault YES but expected AH's support, found none, saw they have supposed 24/7 e-mail support which failed.

Why did you find none? What did you do to contact them? I find it hard to believe they offered no support at all.

Yes, and Neotel, and OpenWeb and WebAfrica... etc. :p

but not Mweb... I do NOT work for Mweb!

Haha, indeed.

I work for Openweb and of late Afrihost. Hopefully, if service levels continue to rise, I'll be 'working' for many other companies in the future.

They did, hours too late. I am not making a fuss over it at all. I ma happy i have working accounts. As said I by accident found a on screen password and user-name which allowed me to log on and change my e-mail address myself. Before that I called Afrihost, but found no telephone support and then mailed at 23/9/2009 19:47 a support ticket which were only answered at 23/9/2009 23:32 which by when I already by luck resolved myself and thus missed the response until the next day.

My issue is more that the OP had an issue and there seems to be the normal army of one line Gunners that attacked hm for it.

Great up for Afrihost that spotted the actual distress signal on this forum and resolved the problem.

Let me be clear, I am not gunning Afrihost, I was frustrated for a short moment, I found empathy with the OP due to my own experience.

Anything else?

Nothing else.

Prepare to be 'gunned' if you, as the OP, come on here with a problem of your own making and then declare X to be at fault for it.
