Please pm me some contact details if you are willing as I have definitely very poor signal yet 500M from me the informal settlement have full 3G HSPA. I know they installed a booster for free at my brothers workplace close to Jozini dam a few years ago.

I Also want that booster.. I live a hilly area and the MTN tower is 600M away from me and i barely get 1 to 2 bars..

@AfriMan, I have a normal that I got with the MiFi device. Would be possible for me to get a LTE enabled sim and what's the process

If you purchased the SIM from us we'll be able to enable LTE for you :)
As long as the device and your area is LTE ready.

@AfriMan, we got the early 5GB deal with the device. How do we make sure the sim is active with mobile two (we will take M3 in November if available)? Dad used the CC so i am unsure how to add the M2 package for October :O.

WRT feedback, fantastic device and MTN speeds. Our tower only has 14Mbps and we get about 12Mbps so no complaints ;-)

Excellent coverage down the coast couldn't believe my eyes what speeds I was getting down here, already depleted all my data and waiting for midnight to come. All networks should probably be congested from now onwards until midnight happy burning calories mean bandwidth

I have just over a gig left on my mifi and 3 GB left on my APN.
No way I can finish it tonight because I have ADSL at home.

I am getting PDP authentication errors on the SIM cards I am trying to use up before they expire. Been doing that for the last half hour or so.

Thanks Afrihost for stealing the data that was remaining on the cards.

I can't connect either. It's damn annoying MTN says APN Wildcard* is not loaded on the sim.

My Afrihost mobile won't connect at all even though it's active in the client zone.

Worked fine last night.

Every now and then I'm getting errors from the afrihost APN, like so:

Resetting network settings and reloading the afrihost APN does not solve the problem. Only time does. What gives?

So I did not get 20gig as the email said I would this month ... but 15gig so I am 5gig short. Also, even though data allocated, my account is still capped?

Well since I have 40gb on adsl I never use it except for updates :D

What do you use 10gb on your phone for?

For running that cute little LTE symbol top left on my screen. Before I loaded the 10GB APN, I had R100 left for voice calls...ran a couple speed tests on LTE and was sucked dry!!

Since the LTE signal is so widely available, including home, the 10GB will be used to subsidise my 60+60GB Telkom Mobile data.
