I could not use my last 80 megs last night. Browser kept getting warning that it was being redirected to capped.afrihost.com but the server was reporting it as www.afrihost.com . no problem I think so I say connect anyways but it could not load any page.

I think maybe I ran out of bandwidth and clientzone didn't update ?
Does clientzone update the bandwidth figures in real time?

The whole friggin night. No data connection. I've done countless reboots and toggled the evil LTE switch. What's also interesting is that on my iPad, the Afrihost app just crashes if I try access those same two accounts.

Sorry to hear this - though must confess I'm not sure what you're trying to do here. Please PM me with details :(

I'd like to run some checks on the usage and data logs under your account from last night/ last month. Could you drop me a PM please?

For some reason I can't use my last gig

Looks like it's locked - it may be from overage that we write off.

PM me and I'll take a look :)

My connection was unstable. A reboot to the mifi helped slightly but it definitely was slower then normal.

You might be getting 2G or Edge now - or are you using the 3G only setting?

You're lucky with those speeds, I think I lost about 2 gigs of data because my speeds are so slow and I couldn't use it :(

With many clients of Afrihost and MTN on data bundles, demand increased on the last and first day of the month.

If you had great service during the month - chances are demand increased affecting signal speeds.

Make sure you also got 3G signal. If demand increased and 2G gives a stronger signal - your device may automatically switch over :(

Well, it's raining in P.E Walmer Park, and it's quite overcast!, perhaps it's that...

Weather is pretty horrible for any bandwidth. We need internet that flows directly into our brains carried by nanites.

Wait, that's brilliant! *patents idea*

It is not what it's cracked up to be. Just don't bother about it and stay on 3G.
