FWIW, speeds in Pinelands, CT went from awesome to shocking this weekend. I was constantly kicked down to Edge or completely disconnected. Let's hope it doesn't carry on this way.

Could be a problem with 3G signal and 2G signal was stronger. If you;re staying in one place, maybe try setting the device to 3G only as a test. IF you're on the move though, I'd recommend sticking to the auto selection setting.

LTE stopped working for me this afternoon around 15:00 and its still down. Drove past 4 LTE towers and none of them wanted to connect. 3G,EDGE and GPRS only

I've sent a few enquiries to MTN today, and they seem to think that everything is working normally. Have you checked that LTE is working normally on your MTN APN?

Yes switching back to myMTN and internet apn LTE is working. Strange thing is LTE was working fine whole day until the afternoon and then it went dead. Full LTE coverage but not data connection. I'm not in a LTE coverage area right now so not sure if it could have been fixed now or not....

Hi

I got my MIFI device today. The speeds are excellent on Afrihost 10Mps. I also have a VDC 5+5GB account I want to use on this device. How do I change the APN to Vodacom. and Then change it back to Afrihost? Also I want to use it when I travel abroad, how do I change the settings to an overseas Carrier?

Thanks

Sorry about all the confusion. And LTE being dicey today probably didn't help.

We'll get some answers for you ASAP :(

Still no "pure internet joy". LTE has not worked since I have had this sim and this is a week already. I get that there may have been problems but I am sure that they are resolved (looking at this forum) but still nothing for me. Help!

LTE working fine again this morning

I would like to know if it is possible for the courier to deliver my SIM card and the mobile device to my home after 17:00 since I can't get stuff delivered to my work? [email protected] has not sent me a reply regarding my question. Thank you in advance.

For the last 2 weeks my Afrihost mobile connection got progressively worse. The problems start at about 20:00. My latency spikes massively (about 5000ms in game).

Sounds like cell tower congestion :/ I don't know of any tests to confirm that - but maybe chat to live support

See that this is working now - awesome :)

You should be able to access the "Network Name" or APN settings on the device and change them for each SIM.

Our data is not available for roaming ... yet ;)

Hopefully the coverage team can figure this out. Tested LTE on our side today and yesterday and seems to be working fine :(

I generally find the people on the forum more helpful. Hopefully it's not congestion, since the general response for that is "maybe it gets better in a year"

It's best to contact the courier directly to make these directly with the courier as they work this out on their routes and schedules. I know that officially they work within office hours but they have been known to make an exception or two if you arrange this with them :)

Thing is, I stuck my Vodacom SIM into my iPad and it picked up 4G immediately. So it is definitely not the device.
