It's a smart way for Afrihost to save money. Everyone will have finished their data tonight but now they can't so Afrihost saves.
Except if they buy in bulk and it's just gone for them too.

But it connected after a while? I'm using my Vodacom data because I couldn't connect. If it does connect after a while then I may just try that though.

it show data connection with mtn apn myMTN but cant use data but with afrihost apn it show nothing.

Had to manually add 8.8.8.8 as primary DNS server to my TCP/IP properties...

Assuming you're using a mifi - open tcp/ip properties for wifi (or the appropriate adapter)
in the primary DNS server entry add 8.8.8.8
should sort you out in the meantime...

Woot! I was able to connect. This was before I saw the DNS server solution. If you let it try long enough then it connects eventually.

Flawless now. But for how long.
We've been having some authentication issues for the last 24 hours intermittently, but seem to have gotten pretty serious in the last few hours this evening.
Did you try the DNS change? Would be great to know if this is working, cos it will help us fix the issue in that case.
