Drop me a PM with your username and I'll send it on to the Team. :)
Sent you a pm, would appreciate if this could be resolved today, 3rd day without cell coverage, making life rather difficult.

I'm afraid I won't be able to guarantee an ETR, but I'll do my best to help. :)

:(

The cancellation date is currently the 23rd of the month.

What was the actual cancellation date that was listed when you requested the cancellation?

Firstly, thank you for clearing this up.

Secondly: The reference to cancelation date. The confirmation I received when canceling also indicated that I would not be billed anymore - I don't screenshot everything I do. (There is no other reference to cancelation date that I could find for mobile data).

6. Device Payment Plan

6.1 These terms and conditions apply to a Mobile Device that is on a payment plan.
6.2 This is for Clients who have opted to pay for the Mobile Device over 12 months.
6.3 Signing up for a monthly payment plan means a Client is liable for all 12 payments for the device, which are payable in monthly instalments.
6.4 The data is not bound to the payment plan. Clients will continue to pay all of the outstanding payments for the device, even if they cancel the data.
6.5 A Client can cancel the data at any time before the 25th of the month they want to cancel in. Any cancellation after the 25th will go into effect at the end of the following month.
6.6 The Device Payment Plan does not qualify for the 60 days Double Your Money Back guarantee.

Edit: Also another reference to the date

(Funny, this was answered yesterday so did the date go from 23 to 25 now this month?)

Hey there

If you cancel before the 25th of the month you will not be charged for the next month and the package will cancel on the last day of the month of cancellation.

If you have experienced different I would recommend you request a call back or contact their accounst dept.

It looks like that portion of the terms were not updated, I've requested that our website team do that ASAP.

It looks like there other item is from a support ticket, that is definitely no longer correct. We did cite the 25th as a safe date, but due to recent changes in our billing run to make it more efficient, we've had to push that date back to the 23rd :(

Will you honor what was said here to your client?

So I cancelled my afrihost plus and move my self to the cheapest option R29.00 for my cellphone... I am done using afrimobile for work or games.

Its always a issue of we can do nothing from our side you must contact mtn... LOOK I don't pay mtn you do.... you are selling the product to me.I am gatvol reading this thread of people complaining about stuff that you should fix but rather you guys send them to call mtn... IF we are paying MTN buy it from mtn sure... But I am not.

I moved over to cellc .. after being how long with afrihost I just can't take it anymore AND I always tried from my side... the last tower issue I had I sorted it out not them. .

After this month ill use cellc as my main

I saw your posts in the DSL thread, Mobile should not be affected at all.

Can you give me some more details?
On the MTN apn I was getting 17 Megabits down, then when switching to AH apn I was getting 3 Megabits.

Team speak on the AH apn resulted in high latency and unacceptable packet loss bringing down the connection quality to around 32%

Thank you. I see the update now on the site.

Still a bad customer experience from my side (its not about the money but the principle).

Anyone else with mobile connection dead in Western Cape? Down for about 20 minutes now.

My Mtn connection was "no service" from Sat till I drove out of Ct this morning, somewhere before Stellies the lights went on again.

Hey guys

We're aware and working on a Mobile issue affecting clients in the South.
Sorry about the downtime, I'm sure we'll have a fix implemented soon!

We'll have a website notice up soon with further updates.

Starting to see improved results.
For those still having issues with their Mobile data connections, please reboot or cycle aeroplane mode and try again :)
