I sent some messages through to Afrihost WhatsApp earlier on (just before and then after 3pm), though most are "date stamped" around 10am because our power went out before I could send them through this a.m.
So far they haven't been acknowledged (apart from the auto reply), understandably at this time of the year, but I need this issue resolved by the 15th of Dec. (your cut-off date for downgrading (in this case).
In the client zone of my profile, under "Edit Package", it's stuck on Current (of 20 + 10 GB) and Pending (of 80 + 80 GB) from last month.
My Current for Dec'19 is the 80 + 80 GB package, so your client zone should have reset to allow me to make upgrade or downgrade changes again, in Dec'19 for Jan'20. Even though I logged on earlier today (being the 9th Dec.) to try downgrading to the 40 + 40 GB package for Jan'20, I don't feel I should be disadvantaged based on your cut-off date of the 15th of the month, as this is something out of my control.
I will send you a PM of my Account and ID nos., referencing back to this post.
I don't mind if you cannot fix the client zone interface in time for the 15th Dec. cut-off, but as long as your support can downgrade my account to the 40 + 40 GB package, and e-mail me proof thereof, that will be acceptable.
However, I await your reply as to whether the client zone is fixable before the 15th Dec. so I can make the necessary change/s myself, or if you'll have to do so there.
I want to change to the 40 + 40 GB package (which is R299pm, from what I remember) effective from the 1st Jan. 2020.
This is from the 80 + 80 GB package I'm currently on, but as indicated in detail in my post, I'm unable to do this change myself as the "Edit Package" part of the client zone in my profile is still showing the "Current" and "Pending" from last month, and therefore there is now no drop-down menu available to me to choose to change to the 40 GB package.
If you can access my profile, I'm hopeful you can see the problem I'm faced with.

UPDATE : I logged back in after writing this a short while ago, and miraculously was now able to change from the 80GB (Current) to 40GB (Pending) package myself.
This was definitely not the case earlier on today, so am presuming it was fixed between then and now. There should therefore be nothing more to do, on your part.

Internet access on my phone with the Afrihost Sim is normal, plenty of data available but when I try to use the Hotspot the other devices connecting get this.
I often use my device as a hotspot and never had this happen before. It is serous as I need it for work next week!![]()

I have checked but this isn't the case. I deleted the APN and created a new one, interestingly the phone, now on Android 10,would not accept the APN type string. Something about the carrier not allowing the dun command.
I left that line blank and the hotspot started working.
