Were these speeds you been getting the whole day from your end? Are you still experiencing such speeds?

On the day of activation I got 70mbps+ on 4G+ now I few days has pass and it's now stuck only 4G. I am not sure what's the cause

Ah ah! Found the problem. It's the APN settings! The Automatic configuration one afrihost sent is the culprit.The moment I switched over to the manual configuration it immediately gave me 4G+,looking even better than Vodacom rn @MakoPC

I'm not sure if this is the problem. The automatic one only has "default" in APN type while the manual one has "default,supl" not sure if this is the culprit

Hi, yes it's better but I noticed I don't get 4g+ could this be a problem on my side?

Generally how long does it take to receive the sms when porting a number?

It is supposed to be on "default,supl" into APN Type field.

As soon as you initiate the porting you will receive an SMS. But please reply to this SMS within 4 hours to authorize the port.

It has been about 30 minutes and still no sms.

Try setting the APN on the MiFi to ws.air.mvno and test.

Tried seems like my sim is blocked

I have the sim it just doesn't work, I can't call or use the internet even from a phone now

I find it curious that AirMobile is entirely prepaid @AfriGuy .

Is the idea to entirely replace contract options with auto top-ups, or are contract options coming that are similar to the old Air packages?

Either way, AirMobile is amazing. Love you guys.

Did you try changing the APN? Certain devices require you to change the APN
APN field should have ws.air.mvno

Sorry - I edited a different post instead of the one in this thread.

It's a bit of a hassle to sign up for one so I'm going to hold off until I get some clarity on the apple watch thing.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but who knows, unfortunately don't have an apple watch myself

If it does work I'll sign the whole family up - we all have them. Otherwise it's not worth the effort.

I already have an Afrihost account and could get the eSim before uploading RICA documents, just had to upload the RICA docs the day after I got the eSIM or it would be suspended, I don't know if that is the same for new sign ups

I also have an existing account but times have changed and I no longer have proof of address (killed my telkom line last year) so RICA is going to be a headache.

When you try get the eSIM does it ask for the RICA documents straight away? Cause I got the eSIM and just got a SMS that I have until tomorrow to upload my documents
