Is there any good Afrihost apps available to be able to check your data use balance easily on an Android phone?

You should definitely check out our Afrihost App. :) It's available on Android and iOS.
 
I just really wish it didn't greet me with this since they cancelled my ADSL 1 GB Test Account.

Why have to see this everytime I go and check all the wireless products I have?

Your Fixed Wireless products are listed under the "Mobile" section in ClientZone. :)

There is an issue with my APN it seems. I cannot connect to the internet even though I have 5GB of data left. I've logged a call with Afrihost and with MTN as requested. I've had no access to the internet for 2 days now.

Currently if i check my MTN data (dialling *141# balance it say's zero, however, my SMS and airtime balances are correct.

Can you please look into this ASAP.

Cancelled my fixed wireless account and got billed R700.

There is a cancellation fee when you cancel a Fixed Wireless package within 6 months of signup. This cancellation fee is only relevant for clients that signed up with any of the promotions that we have been offering over the last couple of months.

If you did not sign with a Fixed Wireless promotion, please send me a PM with your account information I will check this out for you.

That's not good! :( Do you have the ticket ID so that I can follow-up on this.
 
I cancelled my Afrihost Mobile in January after just one month because of too many hassles with the service. Constant errors on the sim card, bad signal etc. I took the sim card out of my phone and chucked it in a drawer, this was at the end of January.

Imagine my surprise at receiving an invoice billing me for data I had used in FEBRUARY!!! How on earth did I use data when the sim card isn't even in any phone? Did the sim card somehow magically connect to the network on its own from inside a drawer?

Shame on you Afrihost for billing people for data that they never used :( How many people have you ripped off like this?

I have cancelled my ADSL data, my ADSL line and Mobile that I had with Afrihost. I am done! You have gone from being the best isp to being the absolute worst! I will NEVER use Afrihost again and I will make sure to warn everyone to stay away from Afrihost! I am spitting mad right now! Unbelievable!
