I cancelled my Afrihost Mobile in January after just one month because of too many hassles with the service. Constant errors on the sim card, bad signal etc. I took the sim card out of my phone and chucked it in a drawer, this was at the end of January.
Imagine my surprise at receiving an invoice billing me for data I had used in FEBRUARY!!! How on earth did I use data when the sim card isn't even in any phone? Did the sim card somehow magically connect to the network on its own from inside a drawer?
Shame on you Afrihost for billing people for data that they never usedHow many people have you ripped off like this?
I have cancelled my ADSL data, my ADSL line and Mobile that I had with Afrihost. I am done! You have gone from being the best isp to being the absolute worst! I will NEVER use Afrihost again and I will make sure to warn everyone to stay away from Afrihost! I am spitting mad right now! Unbelievable!
Hi Valis. That certainly sounds quite strange. It's possible that you could have requested your cancellation during our billing run in January which resulted in you getting billed for February.
