We apologise for the inconvenience caused during this period. We are working with MTN to resolve this as soon as possible.Fixed LTE completely dead. Second meeting currently underway that I am missing due to this. 2 more coming up soon. No ETA from Afrihost, almost 2 hours in.
Yeah but my boss would love an ETA. Any chance on an ETA? Or what is causing the issue? We apologise for the inconvenience caused during this period. We are working with MTN to resolve this as soon as possible.

Service should be restored now.Still no news? Bad form, really bad form.
Is this the reason why Google captcha is going all mad?We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We identified an internal issue with our RADIUS server where RADIUS responses for authentication requests originating from MTN were just slow enough that MTN initiated new session requests before the RADIUS server could respond to the initial ones, without sending Stop requests for the first session. (Because MTN doesn’t know RADIUS got the request). As a result, multiple concurrent sessions were established per subscriber, each reserving a unique IP address. This behaviour rapidly exhausted the available IP address pool, including NAT IPs, leading to session failures.
Hello. Is this the reason why Google captcha is going all mad?
Been needing to verify I am a human so many times to do a simple Google search, and it's always when I really need to Google search. But mind you, the no matter how many times I'm ask to tap all the tiles with bikes, stairs, cars etc etc. The damn captcha doesn't go away.
Resulting in me, needing to switch to my Tailscale exit node for a simple Google search or switch to Telkom data connection. It's pretty damn annoying
Hello.
Trying to replicate this on my airmobile.
At least it's some update. I know it's not your fault, but damn, this was a bad one. I missed 3 client and 2 internal meetings due to this, and it doesn't look good for the "WFH is more stable" argument. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I assumption is that roaming will only be coming after MTN has enabled VoLTE/VoWiFi for all MVNO.@Afrigirl any updates on roaming for Airmobile?

The main reason that I don't move my primary cell number to AirMobile is that it takes 1 to 2 weeks to deliver a SIM. If anything happens to my SIM, I can't wait so long to get my number operational again.I assumption is that roaming will only be coming after MTN has enabled VoLTE/VoWiFi for all MVNO.
As I believe they are planning to switch off 3G next year December 2026, but with the latest ruling about the switch off, not so sure if that will be happening still or not.
Edit:
VoWiFi is pretty much the only reason I haven't ported my primary Telkom number over, as I can still do phone calls/SMS via any data connection.
So when traveling, I just get a local sim, and then sorted for data & phone calls (via SA number)

Delivery was within 2 business days... then again, I do not know what you had outstanding before delivery was allowed. The main reason that I don't move my primary cell number to AirMobile is that it takes 1 to 2 weeks to deliver a SIM.
