Here's a few runs I did before my cancellation went through last month.

Location: Helderkruin
Device: iPhone 5S over B593 WiFi

Speed test without antenna:

Signal strength: -88dBm

Well if you Got like 12GB of afrihost data for complaining the whole time about LTE not working then yeah... :D

I really like Afrihost and MTN LTE if it works. Pretty damn cool to be honest. I actually never worried about data on my phone.
 
I've just heard from a colleague that he is getting 72Mbps (Afrihost LTE) in Midrand. This is the highest speed I've heard of from MTN. I've asked for speed tests to make sure his claims are authentic.

My personal best in comparison is almost 50Mbps down and 17Mbps up.

Stunning 3G speeds. It's been a while since I used Afrihost but testing a colleague's SIM for LTE. At this location I don't need LTE. :)

How on earth is it possible that you're getting the fastest speeds I have ever seen on LTE! I envy you leader of LTE :P
 
IIRC that speed test was at the office in Sandown off Rivonia Road, it's not my home in Helderkruin. At home my download on MTN/Afrihost isn't that high; I get low 30's max but the same high uploads.

In the past I could only get 0.3 Mbps down and since last week Friday I've been able to get up to 12 Mbps in the same area at my home. It's officially faster than ADSL in my area. :D
