It has come to our attention that Afrihost is the service provider for the IP address listed below, from which unauthorized copying and distribution (downloading, uploading, file serving, file "swapping" or other similar activities) of Amazon Content Services LLC ("Amazon") property is taking place. The documentation included at the end of this notice specifies the location of the infringement. We believe that the Internet access of the user engaging in this infringement is provided by Afrihost or a downstream service provider who purchases this connectivity from Afrihost.
This unauthorized copying and distribution constitutes copyright infringement under the Copyright Act, Title 17 U.S. Code Section 106(3)-(4). Depending upon the type of service Afrihost is providing to this IP address, it may have legal and/or equitable liability if it does not expeditiously remove or disable access to the property listed below, or if it fails to implement a policy that provides for termination of subscribers who are repeat infringers (see, 17 U.S.C. 512). This conduct may also violate the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and the Universal Copyright Convention, as well as bilateral treaties with other countries that allow for protection of Amazon's copyrighted works even beyond U.S. borders.
Although various legal and equitable remedies may be available to Amazon as a result of such infringement, we believe that the entire Internet community benefits when these matters are resolved cooperatively. We urge you to take immediate action to effect removal of the detected infringement listed in the below report, including:
(1) Notify the account holder of this infringement
(2) Require the account holder remove the infringing material
(3) Disable access to the infringing material
(4) Take appropriate action against the account holder under your Abuse Policy/Terms of Service
We appreciate your efforts toward this common goal. Please send us a prompt response indicating the actions you have taken to resolve this matter. Please reference the above noted Notice ID 222135561960 in all correspondence, which should be directed to:

Once again getting bullsh*t service from afrihost, 10mbs capped 200gb bundle and im getting SHAPED!!!!!!!!!!!, local ping is high(60-120ms) international ping is higher(300-400ms) speedtests give me 6mbps instead of my usual 9.89mbps(10mbps) line speed. They make changes to packages without any consultation with their own clients using the services. why should i have to constantly come back here to smack them on the wrists and remind to work or fix their services, please do your job otherwise once again im looking elsewhere at another isp rather. Your service is so inconsistent its ridiculous.

I don't think shaping is a factor here. This might be affected by factors such as faulty components on your home connection, Telkom network and even ours. Please could you ping bras.afrihost.com, run a speedtest and paste your results so I can take a look.

Yep! afrihost cpt evening are a nightmare. Though saturday and sunday was pretty good.
Anyway, probably revert back to my old isp. Im abit bored with doing ping and trace routes now.

We then forward this to the client which has that IP so that they can respond to the email stating that the content has been deleted.
Is it only Amazon content ie Amazon original shows, or anything that is part of the Amazon lineup?

We're only getting these complaints from Amazon, so I would assume that it's anything on the Amazon lineup.

Any feedback on my Amazon streaming issue? It's stop start as hell, even pausing it for a while only helps for a short while. Does it need to be added to your streaming profiles (with netflix, youtube, etc) so that it gets the necessary priority?

It's not Amazon, it's MarkMonitor, which is known for a lot of false flags. Did you ask for proof logs on their side before harassing your customers?We're only getting these complaints from Amazon, so I would assume that it's anything on the Amazon lineup.
Cape town. I'm at work, might try again tonight. I have an 8mb line, which should be more than capable of hd and sd, but isnt. Other streaming services work fine.
