Zero throughput to YT, it loads and plays but is stuck at 144p on AUTO. Netflix is fine, that loads at 720p no problem. Strange thing though is that when I force 1080p on YT it plays no problem. But still has no throughput according to the stats pop-up box:wtf:. switching to full screen mode doesn't help either lol.

Hi,

I trust this mail finds you well:)

As per our telecon I have inquired with our developers and they have confirmed the bundle discount does not apply because we do not have a bundle package of 50GB + 10mbps the package will have to be change to a 100GB in order to benefit for the discount, please see bundle offers on the link below,

https://www.afrihost.com/site/product/capped_dsl_bundles

Thank you and take care

Have a great day and please let me know if I can help with anything else!

Warm regards

3rd week I'm having high ping spikes on local servers (2k-25k ms to Cape Town, 180-250 ms to Europe) and any Steam related sites are just timing out in Steam browser and Chrome. Also random disconnects on European servers despite fairly stable ping. P2P seems locked to 50KB/s. I've used more capped data from Web Africa topups than I've used on my Afrihost business account this month due to the issues. I'm not throttled and none of these issues are happening with my "emergency" WA capped account. Afrihost support have blamed my line every time which is definitely not the case if I can switch to another ISP and reduce my ping by a couple thousand.

Guess it's time to move back to WA uncapped again (I seem to be jumping back and forth every few months) :/

Sorry to hear about the hassles here.
Our Accounts team are correct though, there is no bundled rate for your package - the minimum data you can have on a 10Mbps bundle is 100GB as per our website.

EDIT: I see our Accounts Manager has already queried this to make sure with our team - an update will be confirmed via mail confirming the outcome.

Woah, not seeing anywhere near that amount of latency on our end.
Are there any tests I can take a look at? I'm interested in taking a look at a traceroute to a destination that's affected by this high latency.

Where the reps here! Your accounts call centre is deplorable, I was cut off three times, replied to the consultant who gave me that replied above and this is the response

Please follow the link that he has provided. I was on this product last month as well, I paid the discounted amount. If this is the kind of service I am getting I might as well just take back my line and move on. I am going to ask for again, will you sort out this billing or not.

The bundles are there on your website
