So like clockwork at 20:30 tonight, my Diablo 3 ping jumped from 180/190 to 350/900 it is all over the place. I then tried the following:
Starcraft 2 - No Latency Meter, but felt laggy
Path of Exile - 180/300: A little spiky
The Division - Feels slightly laggy but working
World of Warcraft - 230/800 also all over the place
Warframe - Received in game warning of latency over 400
I will keep an eye on it but like clockwork at 20:30 the latencies have gone for a ball of ****.
Not sure what to do. Rebooted, not fixed. Dont have another account to test with at this moment.

Thats exactly what I am getting now. Diablo 3 constantly sitting between 600 and 1200 and is unplayable. Others seem a little iffy. WoW has settled in between 1500 and 1900 and is ridiculous. A few games are doing it now and its really not playable

had a lot of latency spikes this evening as well, past 7pm. Couldn't catch them on tracerts, but Smite would count as p2p....

I could not catch them on Tracert either, these seemed fine but same time every night this week I had ping spikes and it lasted literally for 3 hours. Like load shedding, just... ping shedding ??:wtf::wtf:

Was doing a play through with a friend on World of Warships, and I was laaging all over the show. Turned out to be a gut buster with a crap Match maker and then teams oh and the constant lag I would suffer...
Edit; In fact I never used to have this much crap with Mweb's premium uncapped service, the only reason I moved back to Afrihost is because of how good the price is here. But Like a human I forgot that Mweb's network compared to MTN's err... sorry... Afrihost's network is two different things.
When one PC request one page on the network via my Afrihost connection, boom 10000 ping for 2 min and in that time I'm torpedoed and blasted into kingdom come. But while I was Mweb, if someone was on the net it did give me a high ping but was still able to fend off my impending doom.

Also had the same experience last night. Kept getting disconnected from games because of the high latency. Used my telkom account and no problems.

Seeing as things aren't getting anywhere I bit the bullet and got another provider account to test - a completely bizarre concept to me but anyway I've already said my 2c about this so I'll drop it.

WebAfrica - very nice Local and Intl.
Afrihost - Intl is... struggling
WebAfrica - showing no packet loss (only a short test 'cause Intl speedtest was stable and so was this. AH revealed problems immediately)
vs Afrihost - packet loss after Hop 3
Something isn't kosher... and it might not be Telkom after all.
