I never thought about that, can I cancel my cancellation request? But wont that just complicate issues, when trying to troubleshoot, as then 1 isp has the data another the line?

Your support is shocking you not inform customer about changing your policy no support on weekends I think I maybe have to move having a ticket open one only getting answers after complaining is shocking
If you still have an open ticket, please give me the reference and I'll be happy to follow up with the Team. Our Supper Team can absolutely be contacted over the weekends. How have you been trying to reach them?

Subject: Packet loss at Cape Town pop
Ticket: GWV-785-39542
Good day Thorsten
I hope you are well
Our network team have done extensive testing, during normal periods and peak periods, on our network in the south and we are unable to reproduce the reported packet loss. I understand that you are not having the same experience on the Telkom network, may I request that you test with the Telkom network for a longer period of time, say for 3 days to see if the same symptoms occur.
I'm afraid as we are unable to reproduce the reported packet loss, we are unable to fix anything as we find nothing wrong with the network. I have however asked the network team to continue testing and try reproduce the packet loss you're experiencing but please be aware that thus far all tests have not produced and packet loss results.
I hope this information serves you well, have a great day and please let me know if I can help with anything else
Warm regards,
Gary - Critical Care Crew
I have something weird and pretty frustrating happening on my line. When we play Dota in the evening my ping will be fine (between 50 - 80 m/s) but every now and then it will spike to 2000+ for 10 - 15 seconds then drop back down to normal. A couple of minutes later it will happen again and again...
Nothing I can post or test, because it happens then disappears. Not sure what is going on.
Thanks kohlhtor.![]()
Based on Gary's response here, I can see that he suggested you carry on testing with your secondary account for a couple of days and report back with your findings. Have you updated this ticket with your response yet?
That does sound a little tricky to troubleshoot... How often would you say this occurs during a session?
Why after 4 weeks of no success and multiple user post she same
I don't trust Afrihost team you telling the network is fine then I hear you have to sharpen Buisiness account in the evenings but telling everyone your network is fine
Your support was much better 2 years ago there phone me back know
You cut down your support in the evening only to 8:00 and 15:00 on weekends
I'm a network administrator I know my tools and the problem is only on Afrihost account

Your issue is unique in that you're having trouble with a specific server in Germany. As per your ticket, Gary suggested that you provide him with further test results as he is working closely alongside our Network Team. I don't think that our CC Team ever considered your issue closed - they are still waiting for a response from your side.![]()
