Been struggling with P2P for the past two weeks already but work schedule keeping me from doing some testing at night... Left 1gb torrent file with over 10000 seeds in last night at just after 9...got up this morning at its at 48%...dont know if its Telkom or what, but i cant run a speed test, and torrents are running at 12kb/s on a 20mbps line
Im not even sure if my issue is Afrihost or my line or both. I switched to my Telkom account, and exactly the same issues, but my pings and tracerts are all showing up as fineBeen struggling with P2P for the past two weeks already but work schedule keeping me from doing some testing at night... So the question is, are Afrihost going to respond or should we rather move?

I'm sure that most of our clients can testify to the fact that we always try remain competitive and offer the best possible value on our products - and we will continue to do so going forward.
Right now, we are focused on our ever improving DSL network, as well as some super secret (and super exciting!) new launches happening in the very near future. After that, who knows what we'll be able to do regarding DSL pricing? We've surprised people in the past...

Will only be able to monitor this daily from September onwards...too much on my plate at work and not able to give feedback just yet...Would love to see some tests and be able to help you a bit further. How does P2P run for you during the day?
+1 epic fail on Afrihost's partYes, improvements like introducing shaping to uncapped business accounts, fantastic. Especially when it was done silently.

Just got a message from Wikipedia, looks like one of Wiki's bots had the same IP as mine last year October
Once in a lifetime thing I guess.
Haha, what are the odds!
Was this your strange DNS log from yesterday?
2016-8-25 1:25:33 firewall Warning 0 Detect UDP port scan attack, scan packet from 169.1.1.2.
Nope but I still get it:
I'll query this with our NOC team, can you tell me how many times this appears in your logs?
Also, what firewall are you running?
Not often, looks like I get it once a day?
Router low level FW and windows FW.
