My results from the evening is above on the previous page.
I cancelled my complaint with Telkom seeing things are normal.

Will check over the next couple of days how the connection is.
Thanks for all your assistance AfriGuy.

Holy cow. Afrihost doubled all of my data, not just the normal data. 1.2TB! :o

Awesome. :) Keep us posted

OK next time I will reply with a period just to keep the ticket open while critical care twiddle their thumbs. I was told to await feedback which I never got. Now it is my fault? This entire process and constant denial is really pushing my buttons. It feels like I am the one who is in the wrong and I am the one who is causing the problems. Fix your network please.

I don't think we're denying anything here. The last time I chatted to CC about your case was while they were busy working with you to resolve your issues. I'll ask them to touch base with you again, but it is important to keep the stream of communication running both ways.

Wow, great work Afrihost. More data is always welcome.

How do you guys use so much data in a month ??
And here I thought 80 gb a month was a lot.

Did anyone notice that the night time unlimited data time slot has changed from 23h30-07h30 to midnight - 06h00?

well I see Free-Time offers you Free, Unlimited Internet usage between Midnight and 6PM Every Day.

A typo? OR are they really giving us this as it says only till 30 November???

Thanks Afrihost for the double data, as I mentioned in the email thread, Gian to the rescue, double data landed just as I was considering a competitors new packages.

Happy Camper!

Its not a typo :D, they have a separate page exclaiming unlimited internet for 18 hours a day...the question is...will this be shaped like uncapped?

Yes sorry I meant 18h00.

This means(and I see its stated on their website as well) that for 18 hours of the day, you are getting free unlimited data.

You only use from your cap between 6pm and midnight

Wow

Thank you very much Afrihost! Always appreciated!

Now if just one day Telkom would at least give me an option to upgrade my line to something other than 2mb aaaaargh! No one at the call center can give me a clue as to when and if any upgrades will be available in the near future... Their answer: "Upgrades are coming Sir"

2mb not that bad if I'm using it alone when streaming... get 720p most nights...but during the day after school's out and everyone's home, 4 users on WiFi just sucks the life out of 2mb LOL! Switching off WiFi is like starting civil war so ja... meh Telkom
