Hi Afrihost,

What does this package of mine mean? "50gb + 150gb"? I'd like to move to a lower cap but don't want to loose the promotional Free Time. I'm also on Afrihost Plus.

What's the "+ 150gb" about?

Thanks

Hi AfriMystery here.. you wont lose your free time as long as you have a positive balance. So you can downgrade to a lower package with no problems

also your 50 + 50 package was doubled, its part of our promotion :D .

Free-Time and Double data are applicable to any Capped product :)
So what you're seeing there is actually a 25GB account with double data, and more double data from your Afrihost Plus+ allocation.

Cool, thank you

Yo guys... any feedback on my missing services in ClientZone?

Yo... AfriPeeps...

Something funny has happened in my clientzone... on one of the accounts my mobile data has been removed as well as the AfriPlus+ subscription.

Yeeps!

Under the new Mobile tab... it says that I have no mobile products... there should be a 500MB SIM there+500MB AfriPlus+.

Asked this in the other thread too:

If I have a capped product and mobile data, and have afrihost +, does the double data apply to both capped and mobile data? Or capped only?

This current double data promo is only valid for Capped DSL, you can still assign an Afrihost Plus+ benefit to a Mobile product though.

Not looking bad there at all.
Keep us posted on how things go.

AG, not sure if you saw my posts of last night. I could stream Youtube in 1080p no problem, pages loaded up fine, but still struggling with down and uploads speeds, which is crazy. Guys mention my CRC was high, but would my cordless phone be causing issues, because there are no noise on the line

CRC errors can be an issue - was/ is your latency high?

yep.. over 300ms last night. Its been a while since its been that high. I use to get latency of around 20-30ms local and around 180ms international. Now im getting 300ms local and around 450ms international.

Im too tired to get Telkom tecchies in again, because according to them, nothing wrong on my line :wtf:

That could be the issue, is that ping to your BRAS?
