hmmmm...so now do I get the new and improved 100GB + 100GB deal or go uncapped on a 4Mbps line rental with you guys...
How much shaping will be done, will it be very noticable when streaming HD content, and what is the FUP on the uncapped 4Mbps...80GB?

These are Home Uncapped accounts, so there's throttling in play here.
It's all pretty transparent though, you can take a look at how the account work here https://www.afrihost.com/site/product/dsl_uncapped
Wow Afrihost really shaking up the broadband landscape in SA, first capped and now slashing uncapped pricing as well. Keep up the good work guys.

Yeah I forgot you have uncapped premium which is semi shaped but still a bit pricey, I think I will stick with the capped account and no shaping...
It'll still provide a very good overall experience, the only protocols that are shaped on Premium is your P2P and downloads. Realtime services are left untouched.
Looking at the home uncapped data usage, this guy managed to download 853gigs in 9 days (za********[email protected]). So one would assume that throttle does not apply to this guy??
Depends on the package he's on I guess.

Business uncapped, gets no love?
I'm afraid price cuts for Premium/ Business Uncapped isn't viable at this stage without sacrificing the quality of the product.
