Ta much... Sjoe, im telling the missus and kids daddy says after 6 go crazy, watch as much youtube and netflix as humanly possible. They tried, and i went down by like a few gigs. :D lol i should have been more clear and said go down by hundreds of gigs ;)

It's before 6pm hey, Free-Time is from 0:00 - 18:00.

I'm impressed with Live streaming.

I tried casting the Liverpool game to my tv (I have DStv but wasn't able to watch through it for reasons) on Saturday night. Amazing :D

No i know, but i got around 700 odd gigs left, which i said must be used after 6pm. So go crazy after 6pm.

Oh right, I get you know!
In that case, go crazy. I'm sure youre neighbours would appreciate some free WiFi too while you're at it ;)

Believe me or not, but I am able to stream 1080p Youtube on an Afrihost 2Mbps Capped bundle. It's amazing! It can't do 720p and 1080p @ 60fps tho, but that's also fine. I still recommend at least a 4Mbps, because once your pc or anything on the wifi does something then there will be some buffering. So 720p is the highest recommended with a 2Mbps Capped account.

@AfriGuy - in the last 10 minutes or so, have signed up for the 10 + 10. Already had a free 1GB package. Only thing (extremely) dissatisfied with - in adding this new package - is the fact that nowhere in the process are payment options mentioned. On checking the invoice, the default is via Debit Order, which I'm not happy about. At the very least, when I questioned one of you via PM's on this forum a few months ago, paying by card in one form or another - whether debit or credit card - was still an option then .. has that too been done away with ?

If that's the case, then I don't even want to continue with this 10GB + 10GB .. by the way, I also had a look at the T's & C's, and to do with payment options, all that is listed is :

6. Payment and payment terms
As per General Terms.

Why are you so elusive on this, both in the sign-up process & in your T's & C's ?

Highly disappointing ... will forward my username and new login to see if you can have the status changed so your accounts dept. can have a new invoice generated, and I can thereafter provide card details to them, or you ?

@Afriguy - I am leaving uncapped behind and moving to a capped line.

Quick question or two - how long does line speed upgrade usually take (8Mb to 10Mb)

I'm interested in taking up the Afrihost+ sub but only want to get a sim in about 2 months time. I am currently on a contract with Cell C but it is coming to an end in about two months. Would I be able then to move to Afrihost sim and keep my number (port)?

Hi

I don't think you were prompted for payment details as you already have an account setup in ClientZone. Any details already setup in ClientZone are inherited by new products.
Have you checked ClientZone to see what payment method(s) you currently have setup?

How do I access the Afrihost news server. Total noob on this type of thing. :o

Please list the steps, as nothing I click on seems to show anything to do with payments ... seems to be well hidden as a 3rd or 4th screen, or more ?

EDIT - My stupidity : was so involved in the Connectivity section, that failed to notice the Billing part of the Client Zone ; having a look now to see possible changes.
