Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

YouTube & DSTV streaming dead my side too. Was getting 3Mbps speed test on my 20Mbps line.
Can't do any tests, because had to switch to Telkom to watch the game.
Annoying when it happens just as you need it.
 
WA test acc saving te day for me. Will downgrade Afrihost and get a WA account.
 
Now after enough people complain it's red on their site. Not proactive at all Afrihost. If you monitor your network well enough you'll know there are issues.

I do agree with that.
With the monitoring they do/should have, once a threshold is breached, there should be an automatic update, or am I being too simplistic.

Clients in the South Region (Cape Town and surrounding Eastern and Western Cape) may be experiencing extremely slow speeds and high latency on their DSL Connections. Our network engineers are working with our upstream providers to resolve this as quickly as possible. We’re using all available resources to minimise the impact to affected clients. We sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

UPDATE 17 September 2016 10:55 Our network engineers are in the process of repairing fibre-optic cable damaged due to attempted cable theft. Our team hope to have normal network performance restored as soon as possible. We sincerely thank affected clients for their patience.

VOX is also affected, I was connect on that account just now, and switched to Afrihost to find it also broken, then switched to CrystalWeb and it is sort of OK.

There might be a issue in the South Again..... Telkom or Teraco...
