speeds went down the crapper at about 10:45pm changed over to vox and working full speed

Had similar experience. Am also in CPT area on 10Mbps ADSL line and no, it could not have been Telkom exchange related, as Vox worked just fine!
Just did Speedtest and AH average download speed - 2.76Mbps and on VOX - 8.74Mbps!

Looks like there was a blip on their network of some sort at around 22:00 today in CPT specifically.

We have the greatest respect for our clients. We can understand that sometimes people get frustrated and it's part of the reason we're here. We always try to be professional (but we vent our frustration in Mario Kart!)

but btw, speed wise last night at 10pm I didn't have any issues. Ping well over 300 yes, but thats normal now
