Nothing on our end, looks like exchange issues here :(
Anything else running on your line at the moment?

Nope nothing. Can you ask the guys to have a look? Line and Data with you guys.

A quick way to test for congestion is to give another ISP a shot, or the Telkom guest account - although this isn't always accurate.

I tested route and it goes to a different IP.

Grab a traceroute to saix.net if you can.

Nothing really jumping out at me here except for a bit of a spike at the end. What DNS are you currently using?

AfriDNS, but I was just comparing to previous result. I think the spike in the end is going international.

Yeah it is which makes the latency fairly normal... Let us know if you pick up anything while troubleshooting your device.

Not to mention that all traffic between 00h00 and 06h00 is zero-rated on our Capped accounts. ;)
So I hear :)
I like that you guys actually have it zero rated during that time. Some other ISPs claim it is, but then traffic until 01:00 is still counted

My 4mbps line is with Telkom, and my data is with AH. I'm on the 50GB package, plus AfriPlus. So that's 100GB's plus 500mb mobile data plus Simfy plus 2 for 1 top ups, soft cap etc

Apart from my congestion issue, I'm very much happy with AH as my isp for data, especially since the Afri Reps on here are top class, and I appreciate good support.
Was gonna go for that, but I'm going for a bundle of 100GB + 4Mbps line which works out cheaper than 4Mbps + 50GB + AfrihostPlus. The mobile data would be nice (I'm not on MTN though), but I don't really need Simfy, though it does seem quite attractive.

Yes... Peeves me off that other ISPs do that and come with sob stories about how it's actually telkom's fault...

SIMFY is awesome. We use it everyday in the office. But go for the cheaper option. If you find that you run out of data on 100GB cap, you can always double it up at that point with Afriplus and get your cool, other benefits! :D
