Streaming is up **** creek without a paddle. Keeps buffering every few minutes.

The timeout on 3 has been there since the streaming bull**** started

Streaming has definitely been pretty good for me, I haven't experienced this kind of latency. Seems like your latency is intermittent from the second hop, so everything from there is a little unpredictable :(

My ping was averaging 250ms today and I called the call centre. Spoke with one of your agents, i won't mention his name, and he helped me as much as he could by recreating my port, checking for errors etc. but referred me to Telkom to recreate the port from their side and check for errors.

Called them and they found that even though my connection was showing fine, good attenuation etc i was getting quite a few disconnects at the exchange directly, they logged a fault and now I wait for them to fix it.

Thanks to your call centre staff for all the help.

Awesome - glad the guy was able to help. Sometimes cable degradation or other factors can push latency up. Those are usually easy fixes for Telkom when they can isolate the cause :)

Probably been changed to interleaved, which a Telkom employee confirmed here. It pushes your line sync up by a noticeable margin.
Not mine :( in fact my upstream line rate went down. Where I was doing 0.45mbps on the up, I'm now doing 0.22mbps. My download speeds are still around 3.55mbps. So no change for me

Getting ISP authentication and nothing else at the moment:

Anyone else experiencing similar?

I think that looks like your line has no sync, not sure why it shows authentication if the DSL sync fails. I would guess that your exchange or line is probably down.

Is this a test directly from your router? Not sure how it makes sense :(

Yes, that's the default dlink router diagnostics page.

Welcome back - glad the new network is rocking for you :)

By the sound of the tumbleweeds rolling around on here most of the time... It would appear the new network is working well for the majority :p
