Not great through to international there.
What DNS servers are you using?

I have tried both Afrihost and Google DNS with the same results.

Thanks for confirming. Where abouts are you based?
If I run the same test, I get:

Code:
--- bbc.co.uk ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 164.941/169.108/173.898/3.182 ms

I am in JHB, since Saturday i have had bad international connection, Afrihost said it had a problem, but my problem continues after Afrihost said it is resolved.

Definitely no issues coming from our end, the increase in latency yesterday was nominal at best and only saw small latency increases, not packet loss.
Drop me a PM with your line number and I'll see if I can spot anything :)

It's finally working now, last 30 minutes it came right.

What happened/What was the cause?

Nothing's changed from our end, I'm afraid I'll need to look at some test results the next time you see this to determine the cause.

I'm honestly not sure, orange stuff is usually Neotel isn't it, and green DFA? I'm guessing.
Reverse, roll down the window and ask :)

Downstream stats look pretty borderline there :(
Upload sync is completely dictated by line stats and availability on the exchange.
Upload has definitely improved..... was never like that. There is a lot of dig going around my area with boards saying "telecommunications"... hoping for some improvement.

PS: thanks for willingness to assist with other issue of pm.

I assume you're on a 10Mbps line hey? If so, the theoretical max upstream is 1Mbps, which you're pretty close to :)
And no worries! Hopefully those regrades go through soon!

so who is using Simfy? is it me, or do you have to stop the current song before playing the next? If the current song is playing, and you click on another song, both songs play at the same time.

Odd how p2p downloads seem to tank at about 19:00, and then morning they are ok again? All other downloads are fine, and I don't have p2p limited on my business account.

That's very strange! Which incarnation of Simfy are you using? Android, Apple, Desktop, Browser-based?

Definitely nothing that should be causing this to happen. :(

Are you seeing any other dips in performance?
