No one on this forum from AH admitted seeing an issue with my account, Afriguy continually denied there was an issue.

I don't know the full context, but I think the general pattern is always that if you report issues with a theory like "My account is slow - you must be shaping Business accounts" then we have to reply in the negative because that's not what we're doing. This is why we need to stop trying to use MyBB to verify conclusions, but to submit information and try to find the best solution or possible problem.

I think we have proven time and time again that when we work together, we get to the best solution and we get there faster and everybody has happy joy-joy feelings :)

I would think a better response would be "I have noted your issue and will have this looked into", basically saying no that cannot be the case is bound to irritate people, if you are proved wrong.

I have always worded with AH, and the various reps, and I have continually supplied all the tests that have been asked for and in most cases I provide even more information. Its gets to a stage where you wonder if another tracert will show any difference from the one I have just sent, and that's where the frustration comes in. I know in the past I have said just fix it, but that must be taken into context, this is after numerous tests have been sent.

As a side note, your ticketing system seems to have an issue. I cannot log on to respond to Oscar, and if I respond to his email it gets rejected.

We always appreciate the tests, and that is definitely a good way to go. But like I said, it becomes hard when we have to discuss various theories and conclusions when we haven't let the process run it's course. I think a better approach is to troubleshoot individual, identify trends and then we can monitor for how many people exhibit the same trends.

Is it just me or did something just break? I'm getting DNS lookup failures on the Afrihost network.

*This would be with 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 google setup. Working fine on other isps.

*Can't get mybroadband.co.za and www.afrihost.com resolved with this setup on the Afrihost network...

Not looking good... :( I believe that you are in touch with our Critical Care Team regarding your specific issue? Have you reported this info to them?

I have not received any official feedback yet, but I'm sure we'll be able to update you guys as soon as we know more. :) How are things running for you at present?
