What have you been averaging per month? Maybe worth going for 100GB with Afrihost plus. 200GB + unlimited after hours is plenty for streaming.
I'm on the 150GB + 150GB package, and it's plenty for streaming. Torrents and other downloads from 11:30 onwards to 7:30am and all good that way

im having an odd issue. I changed my package from 150GB to 200GB. However, my package showed 150GB + 150GB, but now after changing it, its only showing me on a 200GB package. My AfriPlus is still very much active. Will this reflect on the 1st as 200GB + 200GB under my profile in Client Zone?

True that, been averaging around 150GB per month, but going all out with streaming now. So can see that doubling easily. Will maybe try the 100GB plus+ and see how it goes. Thanks

It should change on June 1st :).. I remember it happened to me when I changed over to 100GB from 75GB, you have already been billed for 150GB so it would make sense if it changed on the 1st of June.

AH reps please ask your developers to fix the client zone app for iOS. After the recent update you can no longer access usage stats.

Sorry to say goodbye Afrihost, but goodbye. This is the last day of the month, and from tomorrow I'll be with Crystal Web. The recent connection issues seem to be mostly resolved. I'm not hell-bent on moving, but my family absolutely insists on it. Lots of internet rage was induced this month and has not been forgotten.

I'm interested to know, why I didn't get my full 400 gigs data, but only 370 gigs.

If the reset happened on May 1st at 00:00, that means it falls within midnight data time, so no usage of the 400 gigs could have been used.

I also had about 20 or 30 gigs of April left over, so I'm not sure what's happening here. I did the screen shot below.

Didn't get double data from AfriPlus :( sigh . Only got 150 gigs, and carried over 16 gigs by the looks of it, which makes up the 370 gigs. Sigh

Having the same issue where 100GB of my unused data didn't roll over.

Monthly Data Rollover

Monthly Data will only expire at the end of the NEXT month. This means that if you haven't used all of your monthly data by the end of the month, it will rollover to the next month. For example, if you get 10GB per month and you have 3GB left at the end of February, this 3GB data will rollover to March, giving you a total of 13GB to use until the end of March. Just another way we make your data go even further.

Topup Data Rollover.

All Data Topups purchased will only expire at the end of the NEXT month. For example, if you buy a data topup on 5 February, your topup data will only expire at midnight on 31 March - giving you even more value.

Are these jokers there just to waste peoples time hoping that they will just go away? I suggest Rhulani.N go learn his terms and conditions & the basic AH offerings before trying to offer support.

I had a 50 GB capped Afrihost account which I paused at the end of March because April was my notice month for canceling MWeb, so I wanted to use up all my MWeb data.
I'm rid of MWeb now and going all out Afrihost, I just changed my 50 GB capped account to a 150 GB and also unpaused it, but now client zone shows I only have 100 GB remaining for this month. Surely I was suppose to get 150 GB since it is the 1st of the month today?

That is a big concern, and I'm hoping the reps are available tomorrow, or they are at least alerted by this by somebody.

No data rollover from last month for me either. Someone messed up big time at Afrihost. Their website says one thing, their Clientzone another. Maybe half the management thought the normal data rollover was a special only from March to April, thereafter only top up data rolls over or something. Didn't top ups always only expire at the end of the following month? It'll be an interesting meeting they'll be having!

Edit: to be fair, Afrihost have usually been generous when sorting out misunderstandings, so I'm not that worried. Still, I'm interested in the explanation of the mixup. ;-)

I also don't really care about my rolled over data which I didn't get, it was only something like 2.8 GB. But as above I'm also owed 50 GB, upgraded my package to 150 GB and unpaused it yesterday, but only got 100 GB for the month.

Hoping either Afriguy, or one of the other reps come on board today.

I logged a ticket via email, and the support guys couldn't help. Was told to wait until Tuesday when the devs are in.

Afrihost, get your FB sorted. I am on a 10Mbps Capped account, I went from waiting a minute for the first ~5 seconds, to changing it to the mobile version of the video which still didn't load and then downloaded it just to prove to you how slow it is.
It's 4.5MB and it's taken over 5 minutes.

It's 4.5MB and it's taken over 5 minutes.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything though. Do you experience similar issues with other http downloads? There are loads of slow servers out there.

It's a video with 10 million view since yesterday, I think it should be cached here somewhere or at least on a fast server. Btw, it's from Facebook.
Most other HTTP downloads are fine.

Are you downloading through a browser or a download manager? I've encountered many popular servers that are very slow for single threaded downloads.
