Hey guys

I fully understand that the network issues are frustrating, but please do bear with us while we run through some teething issues and get things up to 110%.
We're working on a problem that only affects a few clients in the South.

Then once again, please for the love of ... update your so called network status page, to RELFECT that you have having problems in the south... Why must we always come to myBB to find out that you are having problems?

AfriGuy, I've heard rumors that you guys brought in a few Canadians to help setup the new network. Can you confirm that their names are Terrance and Philip?

Nice memes^^

@AfriGuy Yes I'm from the long forgotten land of Cape Town *Tongue in cheek*

Same problem in CT.

Come on Afrihost, this is getting ridiculous now. 3 different networks over the space of a year and you still have these problems on a regular basis?

Not on.

I feel like a complete tit. I was hovering over that cancel button on the 24th, thought I'd give you guys a chance.

Is there no way for me to cancel now and just pay for the line this month?

Once we have confirmed the issue, we'll update the noticeboard.
We cannot simply update it on a whim.

Please allow us some time to run through some teething issues, it's something to be expected on a brand new network.
Apart from this, things have been running swimmingly well.

Yes you can...

What's wrong with saying we are seeing abnormalities, we are investigating? That's what ANY decent (working) service provider does...

I think it's fair to say we've given you our patience over the last year and all we get is mediocre communication and an unstable network.

I'm not trying to be hostile or aggressive. It's just bad business that the same problems keep resurfacing.

But everyone posting with issues is in the south, so you have a problems and therefore your site should be updated. Your networks, no matter how fancy they are supposed to be never seem to work more than a few days without issues, its amazing, and then we get the same excuses, please be patient, teething problems, we mentioned issues with your test network, and Afrihost assured us that these were resolved and would not happen on the production network. Your network is unable to cope with increase traffic, and month end the speed drops or the issues arise. This has always been the same pattern. How is a person suppose to do their job if the tools you sell never perform as advertised.

While I fully understand your frustrations, I think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions.
I don't think it's fair to just assume that some teething issues is what the network is guaranteed to be like. I know our network performance has been patchy in the past, but understand that we've seen great results on this network, and continue to do so.

It's only normal that a few teething issues occur in the beginning.

Only affecting a few clients in the South? Seems quite a few clients to me! We have 8 lines in different locations around Cape Town and all are giving problems. All google services are unreachable.

Ahmen!

They don't update their network status page, because they try to resolve the issue fast enough so that a post to the network page "isn't justified" in their opinion. Therefore, it creates the impression that everything is just peachy in terms of the uneducated user.

IMHO, AH is becoming more and more of a joke each and every single day.

Issue confirmed in the East too :(

And where is YOUR networking monitoring that picked this up? AGAIN, now the east only became a "confirmed" issue AFTER a client moaned about it. Do you have ANY network monitoring in place?

And, in your own words, "Issue confirmed" So now that the issues are CONFIRMED, I trust you will UPDATE YOUR NETWORK STATUS TO REFLECT YOUR POOR NETWORKING OUTAGE... YET AGAIN!
