Afrihost New Network Feedback

Its been fully upgraded to a 8Mbps profile..I just asked him nicely to lock my line at those speeds, because I did some research, after trial and error I found that my line would work perfect on 5Mbps and it does. And I'm paying R 548, adsl rental included:)

and to anwser your question, yes my line is with afrihost

So R548 for the Adsl + 100GB data but excl voice yes?

I don't understand, are you saying if no other ISP is consistent we can't expect Afrihost to be consistent either? Why should Afrihost, or anyone else for that matter, not strive to improve? Sounds very defeatist that we should just accept that we will never get a reliable service from any ISP.

Anyways, hopefully when the weekend is over someone can answer my main question...

Must be South IPC because KZN is flying. 208ms ping stable in League of Legends and bufferless streaming on twitch actually.

Afrihost's new network does have the best ping in LoL in my testing out of all ISPs, Except their were some hectic spikes last night for some reason, today is smooth though.

Indeed. I was a die hard fan of Vox way back then and got Premium fatpipe on launch and got bolt on linked to it when it launched but then they ran out of capacity and I moved to IS which till today is decent but not the best. Telkom took that spot with a stable 200ms ping in EUW but sadly they barrel rolled downhill and Afrihost came just in time with their new network kicking IS to the curb.....

Yup! Afrihost 190ms ftw... IS sitting at 210-220. Vox at 220-230.

Although on Webafrica Business Capped I got 195ms... Lowest so far on any IS based account - But Afrihost's new network is still beating this.
 
And it only costs R298 for 200GB data and 500mb mobile data,simfy premium,adsl softcap and 2 for 1 topups. Pretty damn impressive and I stand to be corrected but the Cheapest capped unshaped data by far. No one comes close to this..... :D
