anyone else having issues with torrents?

Any torrent I download download starts off fine at normal speed then after a minute or so drops down to practically zero.
 
Hey AH. Guess what - my Telkom line is up again. Please can you un-pause my account? I went on CZ but it isn't giving me the option to un-pause. When I paused the account for Jan and Feb, I paused both the @afrihost.co.za and the @afrigreen account. Let me know if you need my number.

My torrents are running at full speed at home at the moment. How are your speedtests looking at the moment?

I'm getting the same speeds on my side, it doesn't look like there are any Seeds or Peers connected at the moment, you'll need to wait for other Torrent Users with the file to come online.

So Afriguy,
Is naked ADSL possible.... well from what I see, Telkom is already offering it http://www.telkom.co.za/today/shop/home/plan/fast-adsl/#!k=plan-slider-263

So the question is, why are the other ISP's in SA also not offering Naked ADSL? I am with Afrihost and I dont see why I am forced to have a voice line if Telkom is offering Naked ADSL. I understand that Mweb will also be offering Naked ADSL from 1 Jan 2016, so when is Afrihost going to get on board? this is a big game changer

Someone I know apply for the Telkom package ADSL line + Data and when the technician installed it they just installed the ADSL line with no voice line as this is options... check the link!

I don't know if I'm perhaps looking at the incorrect package, but the DSL packages on offer on that page do still need a voice line with Telkom.

Out of curiosity, where did you find out that Mweb is launching naked DSL in January?

Nope, they are still paying for a voice line if it is ADSL, pretty sure Telkom would have made a huge announcement over it.
And the link you linked is just showing data/line packages, you will still have to have a voice line in order to have ADSL. I think they only did so that you can more easily compare across providers/make their packages look cheaper.

Hi AfriFella. He was going to help me un-pause account. Can you help? Should I pm you the username? Which one - @afrihost.co.za or @afrigreen

Having a positive attitude and the will to follow through is the best way to approach any situation. You've done it with the new network and you'll do it again with your new endeavours. :)
