Afriman, im confused with my invoice for this month :( I changed my package yesterday from 75GB at R149 to the 100GB at R199.

I have received my credit note for the 75GB so the invoice shows -R149

However, the 2nd invoice is quoting me the 75GB and the 100GB package + Afriplus which totals R447. Im only suppose to be paying R298 ie R199 + R99

Please assist :)
 
Hey Afripeps, does Afrihost have any plans to roll out onto the Frogfoot network?
They seem to be rolling out on the other side of Table View.

Afriman - I have some good news and bad news.

Good news - they are rolling out fibre about 2km's from my house and (added bonus) I know the CEO of company that is doing the rollout personally. Spoke to them about my lousy connection and I am meeting them this afternoon at the estate they are rolling out at to check if we can put together some kind of a solution (point to point, or using DFA/Ekhuruleni backhaul) to get something going at my house.

Bad news - if this succeeds I will probably cancel my service with you guys... :( Will keep my mobile data though.

You can still use our Capped accounts on Fibre, so you don't need to cancel everything just yet. We hope to have fibre line management in place very soon. If it's a major provider, we should be in talks with them for the future already :)

Cool, will hang on to it then. :) It's a new startup and the only one (from what I am aware) that is doing fibre in our area: http://smartfibre.co.za/

Sometimes the billing can be confusing when you make changes during the billing run. Can I check out your account for you? Just PM me :)

Not all of my scheduled downloads use the cap but especially when I use Sabnzbd the downloads don't usually finish and they seem to use of my normal cap and reflect on after hour usage as well. I've checked a few times and before I go sleep it shows a certain amount and the next morning there is data used and like I said it's usually only with downloading Nzbs.

Hey guys

I'm sure you guys are aware, just confirming there is a SEACOM issue today. This doesn't seem to be affecting a whole lot for us now, mostly seeing Microsoft services/ updates as being a bit slow. We're keeping a close eye on things.
