Any specific examples you have in mind? I'm always up for a challenge :)

If you can get an Unreal Tourney server running with the new hub system that doesn't delist on an ip change I'll buy the social media team lunch.

That's a tough one... Does the server specifically monitor DNS entries for any changes to an A or C Name?

Not too well read up on the details of the hub system. Seems to "break" the servers connection to the hub when the IP changed (old one becomes unreachable) and the server is marked as offline until manually restarted.

...just popped in to say I have absolutely nothing to complain about...

Hi Afri, I am looking to move ISP's - what is the current afrihost FUP on an uncapped 4mb line? Thanks, Mark....

Hi!

We actually have three flavours of Uncapped accounts at the moment. Our Home Uncapped accounts which are throttled when you reach a certain threshold - in the case of 4Mbps that threshold is 80GB - our Premium Uncapped which will only have P2P and HTTP downloads shaped during peak times, leaving all other services unaffected. And then finally our Business Uncapped which is an entirely unshaped service. :)

Anybody able to help with something. In ES file explorer, under network, my pc shows up. However, it says that cannot connect. Which IP do I use as I tried 169.1.1.4 , 169.1.1.1 and 169.1.1.2, 169.1.1.6 etc

In cmd and ipconfig it shows up as 169.1.1.4

I'm trying to access files from my pc via ES

I know this sounds strange... But do you have any Files shared on your PC?

If you mean do I have anything for ES to pick up then yes.

I'm actually trying setup an FTP.

Wants IP
Port
Username
Password
Mode is either active or passive
Etc

Doesn't bring up anything which is why I tried manually configure it. I'll check again and feedback. Sorry I know wrong place, but not sure which ip to use

This is what I get. Which username and password? What would the port be?

The username and password are your PC username and password (your logon credentials).

I use \\machine-name as the server but it doesn't always work for some reason.
Make sure there are also no IP conflicts among your devices. (as you had with your FireTV)

Thanks. Tried the login credentials with no luck. I also made sure there were no ip conflicts.

I would have assumed that ES could or would automatically detect my pc over the network

It does for me, can connect to any device. (all windows machines though, my linux machine died last month)
