Funny I never had any issues the past week and we on the same exchange...

i dont think we are on the same. According to Charl, there are 2 Swartklip exchange. Swartklip and Swartklip 2. 2 has been upgraded i think, and i think they moved you to the new Dslam.

also there must be something strange, because im on an 8mbps line, and i can stream fine in the morning and afternoon. Evenings is terrible.
 
okay Charl has confirmed, the exchange i am connected to had some issue, and they are busy working on it. Definitely congestion during the evening right now, but he has logged a fault for me :)

A traceroute should confirm any congestion :)

is that possible to have a button to change the current ip address? :p

Don't think it can be done easily.
Turning your router off for a bit, or switching to the Telkom guest account and back again should change your IP :)

Any reason you need to see the IP updated frequently?
 
So, my line issue is resolved -

I must say - quite impressed I am.
I put in a support ticket a midnight, got a response a few minutes later - the dude from Telkom did his work yesterday and boom back on track.

Well on the report logged for me, I got an sms saying the line is okay. Please use the Telkom guest account to do a speed test. No really, you tested the Line at a time when I clearly indicated it was okay. I sometimes just shake my head
 
Any chance we will see the 1Meg business uncapped fall away and we get the 2Meg at the current 1Meg price?
 
2Mbs Premium Uncapped is the price of 1Mbs Business Uncapped, why not make the switch?
 
You are confused, Im asking when will 1Meg uncapped business users get upgraded to 2Meg business uncapped.

Why do you need the business account if it's 1Mbs only? Don't you think it would make more sense if you bought a 2Mbs Uncapped Premium account, at the same price?

Even if you got only 50% of the bandwidth during the day, when things are quiet you'd get 2Mbs. So over the course of the month you would average a higher bandwidth throughput.
