My line at home is still crap with afrihost account.
Telkom guest account speedtests look much better in comparison, happening way too often lately

Usually get a good 3.5 -> 3.8 Mbps on the line but since yesterday its been unbearable

That's a lot of latency on the telkom guest account and quite high jitter for being within Cape Town.
It's the Afrihost account, cant switch over to telkom guest since I'm remoting into my machine from work

That looks like a problem between your home and (including) the exchange.
Yeah but when I called yesterday they insisted the line looks fine.
Ever since they stole our cables we've been downgraded from 10Mb to 4Mb and nothings been stable

My line stats have been degrading lately, only have 6.8dB SNR @ 10Mbps when a month ago I had 8.9dB.
