Apologies! :erm:

Seems you are right. Good to see that the latency is better!

Back on afrigreen after i ran out of bandwidth with my new ISP. Afrigreen is even worst than when i left!!!! Why do people bother staying with this ISP ?

Downloading Aftermath is chronically slow only about 1Mb/s whereas friend in Canada gets full line speed 40Mb/s

XOne update freaking slow on AfriGreen - 1:30 in the morning - 10 minutes to download 10 mb on a 4 mbps line (0.133 mbps if my math isn't off). Speedtest shows full line speed.

On AfriRed (aka AfriVanilla) it downloaded 10 mb in 38 seconds (2.105 mbps if I am not mistaken).

Afrigreen has been really slow tonight. Haven't really downloaded anything to test but browsing pages images don't load properly.

Got that ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

and

ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED

and

ERR_NETWORK_TIMED_OUT

few times when browsing even without downloading.

Sorry to hear you say that. What exactly did you find was poor on the network's performance? :(

I think comparing to a US download is very problematic. Firstly, depends on which CDN he is pulling the data from, of it is is cached anywhere. The time also matters becuase when we download, say in the middle of the night, that's peak traffic in the US.

Are you on a 40Mbps line?

That looks pretty horrible. Can you please run a traceroute so I can see where it comes from?

Will try to recreate that on my line here :(

We're still working on recreating the issues that you're having on a Windows 7 platform. Can't compare cos we had no power last night, but AfriGreen is definitely running pretty well for me right now. Up until we lost power, was definitely getting good speeds.

Are you on a Capped or Uncapped account? Any chance that you were possibly being shaped for downloads?

Don't know what happened last night. But YouTube performance was horrible. Were you guys fiddling around last night?
