Getting 1MB/s downloading Android Virtual Studio addons while others are still managing to play Smite without an issue, so having nice performance.

Is Afriblue based on cape town IPC? Would be nice to have lower ping, currently 60ms to cape town from within cape town lol. Would be nice if you guys launch it.

(this is all on a 10Mbps line)

http Downloading was fine earlier this afternoon but now speeds have dropped to about half of normal speed.

Just played on Mweb BF4 server. No packet loss. First time ever in months. :) Will test more.

Tried later again . packet loss back. On different server though.

In totally understand your comment here, but i think to say the ship is sinking is a little exaggerated. We're definitely not in the best position right now, but I think the light at the end of the tunnel is strong, and it's definitely a brighter future for our clients and ourselves as a company. We have great things ahead, and we don't make promises like these lightly (and we never break them).

That's good enough for me.
So what you saying is once you have sorted out what new system you use, we will all automatically go that route ?

Just want to say how awesome Afrigreen has been throughout the Windows 10 transition. Had a ton of stuff to download since I had to format. Full line speed. I love it.

Do you guys know if Microsoft has a local server? If yes, I hope you guys optimise your "release" network like you do for local Google servers.

Wonder how many people left Afrihost from the 1st. Looking at the comments, quite a bit. This should alleviate any contention issues Afrihost might have had. I left and since my afrigreen account was linked to my normal account, myself and many testers are gone now as well.

Live is greener this side: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4552083133

Reading back every response of AfriManGuyWoman looks like the same music to the ears of anyone with time to waste.
Now looking of where to move hosting and mobile accounts. The almighty Afrihost has fallen.

Anyone experiencing DNS issues on some sites?

Not that I care much, but sanral.co.za doesn't work on the network for me. Switched over to an IS account and it worked immediately.

Just checked it. Broken for me as well, not that I really care about Sanral :p

I have zero complaints just thought i would let you know :D

Afrigreen worked like a dream the whole weekend

AfriBlue will follow a similar roll-out plan to AfriGreen, unfortunately we will only deploy IPC to the South and East once we have started the full roll-out of the new network.

I don't have an ETA for AfriBlue, we're still some way off of actually issuing test accounts.

:(

Are you getting that packet loss on a specific Mweb Server or on all of the Mweb servers at the moment?

Yup!

Microsoft definitely has local servers with the updates available, unlike a certain other company - *Cough* Apple *Cough* - that only has the files stored in the US. So that alone has helped a lot!

Also, Windows 10 has this really cool feature whereby one computer on a local network with the updates or files will actually share it with all other Windows 10 machines on the same network.
