I always get bad latency when I test on MyBroadband with Afrihost accounts. It isn't a problem for me.Latency is badEven if it routes via Jo'burg.
I'll agree with Dan C here, that latency isn't looking great
Hard to tell off the bat from your traceroute on the previous page, but it does look like the latency pops in at the exchange. Do you have a backup ISP account to test?

I did test with my Telkom account and it works very well. I did post the results earlier. Post #3553I'll agree with Dan C here, that latency isn't looking great

The normal account works well except for the latency which you and Dan C said is too high.

Latency is decent to Cape Town.. Should be around 50ms tho'

We have been running some tweaks recently, is everything slow for you though?
Streaming suddenly got really bad.
Anyone else seeing degradation this evening?
I cant switch accounts as the wife wants to let her show buffer for a while and try later as she is quite far in.
Speed test is acceptable, ping slightly high and I cant trace to the server unfortunately.
Just monitored with netmeter and actual throughput is on 35Kbs vastly different result to speed test.
Did they somehow kick in shaping by accident?

Twitch not working again, worked once last week and now its the same Afrihost buffering every second. Speed test show I ma only getting about 66% of the speed I should be getting.

I was watching Twitch a load earlier with some Forza 6 stuff.
If I test this now though, things aren't looking that great. Do you have a stream I can test?
